La isla bajo el mar
I started reading this in June on the recommendation of the Spanish professor who conducted the immersion workshop I attended. Though I took a long break from it when the school year started, I took it back up over the Thanksgiving break and finally finished it.
The fact that it took such a long time to read doesn't mean it wasn't good or that the Spanish was too difficult. On the contrary, it was incredibly good and the Spanish quite easy. I'm such a fan of Isabel Allende that I'm not sure I could dislike anything she writes.
