[Sticky] General Proximas Stuff
Sara, either they've changed a lot in the story line, or I just have a terrible memory. It feels like a completely different novela (other than the eye patch and outrageous terms of the will, LOL).
Surprisingly (to me), Cuna is losing every night against El final del paraíso. I don't know anything about the latter show, but the few glimpses I've had of it didn't impress me.
This Cuna is far inferior to the original, but I'm still enjoying it, as they changed it up to the point that it feels like a novela I haven't already seen. I'm not sure that Paz Vega has much range as an actress, but her wardrobe is to die for! I could watch just for all her amazing outfits (and of course the matching eye patches!).
Operación Pacífico with Majada Issa and Mark Tacher. I object to articles that say they include the premiere date in the blurb and then say "sometime in 2020." That's not a date!
Ringo starts December 2 on Univision at 8/7c, opposite El Sultan on Telemundo starting the same night.
Is El sultan the prequel to the one we watched, La sultana? If so, I'm in!
Yep, I think so, just from looking at who's in the promo pictures.
I feel kind of bad for Univision. It seems obvious to me that they waited to see what Telemundo was going to put on and Ringo, of all things, was what they thought had the best chance going toe-to-toe (pun intended) with El Sultan?!
Looks like the new MQB is coming soon. Toni Costa was interviewed on G&F on Tuesday. He's been a dancer and choreographer since the beginning, but this year he'll be in a newly created role: mentor to the contestants. I adore Toni, not just for his extraordinary talent, but also because he and Adamari López make such a cute couple. (They fell in love when she appeared on MQB and he was her frequent dance partner.)
This season's three judges are Dayanara, Casper, and Bianca. (Not a single meanie in the group, LOL!) Here's an article about it:
