I'm really liking some of the music in this. In fact I just spent 40min trying to find this one song that's been running through my head all day. Was difficult cause I could only remember like three words from the lyrics. Thanks to desdelacuna.net I found it and all the other songs from the first episodes. I hope its ok to put it here so I can find it again.

Yeah, best to just listen to the music and forgo the images! Thanks for tracking down the song info.
I am loving this show, especially how every single person seems to be lying or keeping secrets. I'm hooked!
@stealthcacophony I'm glad you looked that up. There are other songs that catch my attention, but I haven't been stopping to track them down.

I made the mistake of saying Rosita wasn't and had to take it back. Now I feel like it's everyone but mom.
I'm already a week behind in this, but I'm determined to catch up
I'm liking Cantu more and more as time goes on. At first I thought she was kind of off putting but now I'm team Cantu.
Its interesting and fun that just because someone says something, that may not actually be what happened if we didn't see it.
Frida's parents (esp Abelardo) were way more upset about Frida and Diego having a thing than Diego's parents. Which just strikes me as funny.
Will we ever know if Cabrera pushed Bolanos? I mean I assume he didn't, but what if he did?
And because it's a mystery I look at every detail as a possible clue, so I'm thinking it has to mean *something* that we didn't see the last moment on the roof.
I had forgotten about that scene! There must be a reason they didn't show what happened up on that roof. Hmm . . .
As for Cantú, I liked her initially, but now she's getting on my nerves. No matter what she personally thinks of Marcela, a mother whose child is missing deserves more compassion and sensitivity. Cantú is downright rude to her.
Cantú seemed so determined not to look like she's got a crush on Cabrera and then she just shifted from tough, competent investigator to jealous and whiny teenager.
re: Cantu - I'm still behind (cap 9) so maybe you know stuff I don't, but I don't see her as being unreasonable about the dangers of a relationship between Cabrera and Marcela - that way lies trouble for both of them. I don't think Cantu was the leak, I think she's trying to take the blame for it so Cabrera won't get in trouble, which does indicate she has feelings for him, but she seems to do a pretty good job keeping it professional.
I finally understand why they were trying to shelter the younger sisters from hearing too much about Frida. I didn't get it before, cause they went to the mass so they clearly knew she was missing. I hope for their sake their parents lives to fall apart too much.
Getting there (cap12) Ugh I understand both Marcela's and Cantu's sides of this. Cantu thinks Marcela is demanding special treatment and thinks she can get it because she's rich. And she's probably right. Frida's probably not the only missing girl out there, but her case is getting a lot of attention because her fam has $
But Marcela thinks they should investigate every lead no matter how small, because her daughter is missing, and no effort or time spent trying to find her is wasted. I think she would walk all over Toluca asking random strangers if they'd seen her daughter if anybody would let her.
The fact that the extremely thin lead that Marcela insisted they investigate has paid off, at least somewhat, only makes Marcela think she was right all along. And probably makes Cabrera think he's behaving rationally. I think if I was Cantu I'd find that mildly irritating. 😬
On a related note, did I miss part? Because I don't remember seeing how the cabin is related to the lady who saw Frida except that I thought it was in the same area (Toluca) ?
Regarding the term SEMEFO used in this week's episodes, here's an explanation from WordReference:
"SEMEFO" is the acronym for "Servicio Médico Forense" (Forensic medical service). It is an office or institute where corpses are taken in order to examine what caused the death and to clarify other legal aspects. Morgue is the place where bodies of persons found dead are kept until identified and claimed or until burial arrangements have been made.
I love how absolutely *everyone* is lying about something in this novela! When I saw Rosita praying for Frida with so much intensity, I couldn't help thinking, "Guilty conscience--she's hiding something!" LOL
I really don't understand Ingrid. If I found out that my dad had hired two prostitutes, it would definitely impact my relationship with him. It would take me a long time to absorb that info and relate to him in the same way as before. It doesn't seem to matter a bit to Ingrid!
