Corazón Que Miente
It's so much fun seeing all the bad guys finally getting their comeuppance! I'm still curious about what Sara was up to with the workers in the house the other day. I thought she might be installing some kind of surveillance equipment, but maybe I read more into it than was there.
Wow, Demián's got multiple teams of law enforcement after him. I wonder how they'll decide who gets to take him in.

No, I thought it looked fishy as well, but I was thinking I should know that guy from somewhere and now I'm not sure if we saw him earlier in the show or he's just one of those guys who does a lot of little parts like this. Still waiting on the payoff, though, and why she needed to go through all this trouble to get whatever's in that USB drive?
Best scene for me on Friday was Renata hanging on to Alonso’s leg as she was being physically evicted from Sara’s house. That was funny. Another funny scene was Fabrizio asking Renata for money she never could get her paws on. What an entertaining episode!
Linda, you called it on the surveillance equipment!
Inadvertent humor: Mariela's screaming "Help! Help!" and it seemed like my TV was responding with an emergency alert. Ah, monsoon season!
Preciado sure did go quickly from unwilling accomplice to doing anything possible to cover his ass. I'm going to be pissed if Marta gets a harsher punishment than Demián and Rogelio for Dorte's death. My thanks to the random truck driver for keeping that cop from shooting Marta.
The actress playing Cirila cries really well.
Denise's face in that last scene: "He wants to see Alonso and Mariela? But what about me?!"
Fabrizio asking Renata for money she never could get her paws on.
That was hilarious, but also pathetic. I guess this is their first big con? I mean, if Lucy could pull one over on them.
I admit, I wasn't all that upset about Leonardo dying, but I'm bummed Carmen didn't get a chance to say goodbye. And Alonso thanking him for not being Demián's son cracked me up.
I hadn't thought about it until Alonso mentioned it, but Demián did kill both his parents. I'm glad he got to punch him.
It was sad about Carmen not getting to see Leonardo while he was still alive. Alonso punching Demián was the best. This is all wrapping up nicely. I cannot believe that Rodrigo is dead yet.
I thought Demián shot him, but then we didn't see him again, so it's iffy. And the thought of Demián suddenly caring what he did to Rafaela? Spare me!
I think that all got wrapped up neatly. And yay for a story just running its course without anyone trying to drag it out!
Kat, ITA. This was a good story and I never got bored. More shows should follow the idea of “less is more.” I also wish they would put more first run novelas on during the day when they do not want to risk a prime time time slot rather than repeating already broadcast novelas like QBA which is following CQM.
Of all the things I wish they'd show again, QBA's not even on the list. I don't understand this decision at all.
And how bloated it's going to feel in comparison to CQM!
Finally got to watch this week's last two episodes. ITA about it being a satisfying ending, especially compared to ByB!
One thing that cracked me up about Renata was that her hair (or extensions) was perfectly curled and coiffed when she woke up from her coma. All of the punishments were so appropriate--like Renata losing her legs, after all the times she mocked Santi in his wheelchair and called him "lisiado".
I actually shed a few tears when Sara apologized to Mariela and they embraced.
It wasn't until I looked up Thelma Madrigal today that I realized that she played Aranza in Por siempre mi amor--and that despite the fact that I had recognized Pablo Lyle (Alonso) right away as Esteban from the same novela! Thelma looked so different to me here; more mature and with a much darker hair color.
Perfect hair, but no makeup. It took me a minute to realize why she looked different.
