I don't think this one really does it for me. Did anyone else get a chance to watch?
I haven't yet.
It mostly made me want to read the book again, but my brain is so tired I'd rather read it in English.
I'm getting ready to watch episode 2, but I wasn't drawn in by the first one. It also seems ridiculous to me that a 40-year-old woman is still battling her mom over what she wants to be when she grows up.
One thing I liked: the theme song by our adorable couple from MQB, Greeicy Rendón and Mike Bahía.

@kat, did you read the book the first time in Spanish? The original is in Portuguese, so whether I read it in English or Spanish, it will still be a translation, so I'm hesitating.
I read it in Spanish the first time. I remember that I liked it and the general plot. And I finished it, so I must have been entertained.
Can anyone confirm what my DVR listings are telling me--Doña Flor moves to 1pm/12c starting Monday?
My guide for Google Fiber still has it at 9 PM all week.

@kat, what is your guide showing in place of Doña Flor in the evening?
La Rosa de Guadalupe. So it goes Rosa, Jesús, Rosa, lawyers.
Very strange! They didn’t announce any change tonight (although I only checked the end of my recording).
¡Gracias por acompañarnos! A partir de este lunes te esperamos más temprano con ´Doña Flor y sus dos maridos´ a la 1pm/12c por @Univision #DoñaFlorUS
It does bother me that lately little announcements like this on Twitter are as close to "official" as it gets.

Fun to read the viewers comments though.
It's sad to know that people can make their displeasure known but the networks never seem to learn.
