And now we wait. They're only getting away with this because I like the show and we're nearly done.
An odd thing is happening to me during this 2nd season: I find myself liking Neriman less and less, while her two pretenders are both growing on me. Macit has shown great strength and maturity, and Sinasi continues to be a loyal friend. I'm really irritated at Neriman for not following through on her exam. If she ever expects to be independent of her dad, she should take her career goals seriously.
I am annoyed with Neriman wanting everyone to be happy with her living her life the way she wants to. If they can't be happy for her, screw 'em! Maybe they'll come around later, but it's not the end of the world for someone not to like you. OK, I know, her dad's important, but if she doesn't want to be waiting until he dies to marry Macit, she might as well do it now. Although, knowing Faiz he'd leave a letter for her telling her not to marry Macit and then she'd spend another several years trying to decide if she dares defy Faiz even though he's on the other side.
And Sinasi's getting more and more like Faiz every day. He can't forgive Neriman or not forgive her, he's gotta make a confusing analogy.
