La Jefa del Campeón
I think they're going for a feel-good show with this. Africa Zavala's working her magic, the show's got a very sunny look to it. So I don't know if there's an actual villain in this, but so far there's a soccer dad who's a creep and Rey's dad who's a gambler.
Aha! There's a loan shark.
The theme song's good.
OK, if this doesn't go off the rails I think it could be fun.
I love Tita. She manages to be cheerful without taking any shit from anyone. I loathe Waldo. I had hoped he'd just never show up again, but no.
Luis Gatica! *swoon* I hope he's a good guy in this one.
I'm going to update the character list with the peeps from the pensión and maybe some more bullet points about the action I really do think most of what's going on is self-explanatory, but when people are being fake that doesn't help us with cues.
I will get in line behind you in the "punching Waldo in the throat" line. And so help me, if he and Martina try to make it sound like Rey's "confused" I'm gonna scream!
I like that Emiliano seems to be just a nice guy who wants to help and not a sexual predator. It would be a relief. But why am I suspicious of the fútbol coach?
I love Emiliano. And El Coronel too.
It was nice that Tita and Beba (?) made up.
Honestly I'm fine with life being the antagonist for this. Sure there are unlikable characters, but that's different from scheming villainy. Maybe I've had my fill of that.
I'm going to be really pissed if Waldo manages to weasel his way out of this.
When the football coach started telling Tita not to worry about money I got suspicious. I think you're right to be suspicious.
I love the theme song. My husband does too 😁
