La Sultana on Telemundo
The costumes! I'm in the middle of writing a recap and I wish I was watching this with Turkish audio and English subtitles, but this will do.
Duuuuude! There's a cat!
Thanks for the neat summary. I decided to watch this series because the head of the Janissaries is my favorite actor Mete Horozoglu who played Soner in Tormenta de Pasiones. I think I lost my first attempt at a response but, just want to say thanks for writing the summary.
You're welcome! I love that actor. I hope we get to see more of him!
I know they're probably taking major liberties with this, but I like a protagonista who's got the guts to smack her future husband around with her shoes!
And of course, I'm living for Elizabeth's appearances.
Between the costumes and settings and landscapes, there's eye candy all over the place in this series. I like that a lot. 🙂
LOL, Elizabeth is fascinating! A major character to be sure. I love the way you're writing these summaries in chrono order. Easier for my poor brain to remember what happened when. I hope we get to see more of Mete Horozoglu, too. TM had cut out dozens of his scenes as Soner in Tormenta de Pasiones. I hope they don't do the same thing to him again in La Sultana. Fingers crossed. 🙂
I agree, it's gorgeous to look at. I wonder how long it takes to get into one of those long dresses and a tiara.
The costumes are sumptuous—such a treat! My one gripe: Doesn’t Ahmed’s hair seem terribly anachronistic?
Have we been told how Cennet got that facial scar?
Snowy could definitely have been Elizabeth's twin.
Last night's episode was stressful. And the cliffhanger has me freaking out. I know nothing's going to happen, but it sure looks like it.
I am sad to report there were no Elizabeth sightings on Friday.
Was not going to watch this for so many reasons, its dubbed and that's distracting, its on before I get home from work and I often forget to set my vcr, I don't have time, and so on and so on, but this week I've gotten home a little early sometimes and caught the last 15- 20 minutes of a few episodes and started reading recaps to make sense of what's going on. Arrgh. I may have to watch this after all, its so pretty, and plotting, I love plotting. *headdesk*
