# of episodes: 13?
" there's an International Superstar Starter Kit that includes at least one crappy parent." Oh my gosh yeah I was thinking almost the exact same thing.
Also why do they have to keep jumping back and forth in time? I'm trying to rest on Sunday, I don't want to have to keep track of time jumps.
I liked the music, and the songs, and the singing, but I'm meh on the story
Looks like we are all on the same page as far as the time jumps. My husband and I did like the music. He said the production value looked great, but we both had trouble with all the time jumping that didn't seem in any way connected to each other. It just made the whole episode feel like a string of non sequiturs (sp?) and not very much like a narrative. I loved the song MiniLuisMi sang at the end.
I thought my confusion over where the plot was going was due to my missing part(s) If it wasn't making sense for you two too then its yay! not my fault, but sad for the story.
That song at the end was awesome. So much better when the kid sang it than the other guy. (I'm going to wait till I decide if I'm really going to watch all of it, before I start trying to remember names 😛 )
I don't know much about Luis Miguel besides his music being really familiar, even though I've never seriously listened to it. I didn't realize he was Spanish. It was cool hearing little LuisMi sing in that flamenco style. So I'm interested in a nerdy kind of way to see how that influenced his singing by the time he was a teenager.
Did y'all catch the glimpse of the real Luis Miguel in the scene where his fictional counterpart debuts the video? Real LuisMi is in the audience, cheering alongside two attractive women.
His dad may take the prize for worst parent-of-a-prodigy that we've seen to date! I enjoyed seeing Óscar Jaenada in the role, though. He's probably best known in the U.S. for playing the title role in the movie about Cantinflas.
I've got it on my DVR, but I really don't know yet if I'll watch it after work. It's not like I'm looking forward to it. I honestly think I'd rather watch Amorcito Corazón on the Univision app...and that's a show I've seen before.
In the show's defense, LuisMi is not someone who's life I'm that interested in. The promos made the show look better than it has turned out to be.
