Could you understand Anuel's song or what the crotch grabs were about?

Goodness no. I was barely paying attention and wishing I was watching a recording so I could FF. He must have been there to entertain that younger viewer demographic that I'm not part of lol.

That deep ruby? She just needed a tiara!

This is fun, watching later than y'all. It gives me things to pay extra attention to 😀

OK, I think I have hit my limit with Javier and his translations. I'm instituting a Casper Smart Challenge--re-translate anything Casper says that you don't think Javier did a good job with.

ETA: And correct me too, or I'll never learn!

OK, Javier, here we go again...

Buen trabajo con el ataque de talon--es algo que toma mucho tiempo de aprender. Haces "plié" primero y lluego (en español) talon, punta. Y lo hagas muy bien. Es bastante dificil de hacer.

Casper is hardly punishing! I really love his critiques, but I wish that Javier would let him finish talking before attempting to translate.

Yep. It's hard to understand either one of them when they're talking at the same time. I don't know where this Punisher thing came from either.

I liked Amara's dance. And Pedro just looks so damn happy!

OK, I don't know how I would say "feather step" either. It probably has some technical name in Spanish that may or may not have anything to do with feathers. I wonder if someone's giving them Casper's notes after in all their technical glory.

Yes! Loved that red.

I can't remember, but is that where Javier translated as "desastre"? Because I didn't like desastre. I thought it was harsh and not quite what Caspar said.

Yeah, that was the one! And he kept distilling things down to like "Watch your feet" when Casper had said something specific about the step. Like, dude, that's not helpful!

Here we go...I'm about to discover the answer to the crotch question....

So far all I'm getting is "She wants to drink, she wants to dance." So possibly said dancing causes a physical reaction the singer would like to hide, however by attempting to deflect attention away from that part of his anatomy, he instead calls attention to it.

Thanks, @kat! At least I get the gist of the song now. I wasn't paying attention when they mentioned the title, so couldn't go looking for the lyrics.

In Javier's defense - it's got to be hard to translate on the spot...about dancing. Lol

I saw some tweets criticizing the show for casting Casper because he's a "nobody" (their words) and he isn't speaking Spanish. Well, he has more dancing credibility to me. He's truly trying to help them improve.

Honesty I like how he's trying the Spanish and it inspires me. It's really hard to be around a lot of native  speakers and they are all being very gracious and kind to him. This is a great panel of judges.

I don't need famous. I need helpful..

The way that Pedro leaped so effortlessly onto the judges' table--I wish I could do that! My cats are the only ones I know who could manage it. 🙂

Sorry! That was Chyno who jumped up on the table, not Pedro.

Javier did a good job interpreting Casper’s remarks tonight. I was especially impressed with his quick translation of “this will be make or break for you.” I would have had to ponder that one for awhile!

There’s no way that CNCO could be singing live with all that fancy choreography—they wouldn’t have any breath left! That had to be playback.
