¿Qué culpa tiene Fatmagül? on UniMás
Mukaddes busted!! I enjoyed that more than the wedding. I'm still mad at Ebe Nine for telling Kerim to keep schtum about the letters. By doing that, she and Kerim both decided to believe that Fatmagül was a liar, but that it was best not to confront her about it and just try to overlook it. Fatmagül has every right to be furious at the lot of them! She's the only person in that novela who *never* lies.
@lindaf hope it’s not too late to join this thread! seeing mukkades get what she deserves give me such vindictive pleasure! her machinations make me incredibly angry, though, but i hope she gets what she deserves in the end. seeing resat beg for forgiveness makes me feel pity, but it’s nothing less than they deserve.
@payolakrayola Welcome aboard! I was so glad to see that Mukaddes didn't get away with claiming credit for denouncing Selim to explain her presence at that house. Kadir saw right through her, and amazingly so did Rahmi. I've never liked Rahmi better than I did in that episode!
As for Resat seeking out Fatmagül to apologize, I think it was just a last-ditch effort to get her to go easy on him at the trial. At the end of his visit to the restaurant, he started whining about how he couldn't go to prison in his current physical condition. That's when I stopped feeling sorry for him and decided that his "apology" was just another strategy. What do you think?
@lindaf omg YESSSS!!!!! god i was so happy when kadir hopped out of the car and saw her i was like ‘he HAS too see right through her’. i hope this works against mukkades in court for conspiring with the enemy.
i was kinda sad that selim got caught but only because he’s cute :p
rahmi deserves so much better. he’s put up with mukkades’ mean attitude and treating him like an incompetent child for way too long. it’s clear that he loves his sister and his children over mukkades, and im glad he wants to get divorced. of course mukkades doesn’t want to get her life torn apart so she’s going to try and stop it but hopefully she fails. she’s like a toxic snake.
definitely agree with the resat thing, but i think i’m an empath and just feel a teensy bit bad for him for probably going to jail with a bad health condition but also it’s his karma so i don’t really care too much 🙂
I'd forgotten all about Kristen. It would've been better if she'd stayed forgotten.
@kat The other thing I don't like about the Kristen storyline is how Kerim mocks Fatmagül's jealousy and laughs at her in a condescending way. Why is it a dead-serious matter when he's jealous of Mustafa, but Fatmagül is just being silly? It's so patronizing.
@payolakrayola Yes, Selim is really handsome! Ironically, I think it's been his biggest curse. Everyone caters to him and pampers him, partly because he's so attractive. It's allowed him to remain immature, lazy, and spoiled.
As for Resat, you are a much nicer person than I am! 😀 I still think he's completely selfish and feels no remorse for what Fatmagül has suffered. I am curious, though, about his recent hand-holding with Perihan. Is he feeling some affection for her, or does he just need her support to walk more easily?
Ebe Nine: Shut up, already! It's driving me crazy the way she's pressuring Rahmi to once again sweep everything under the rug and forgive Mukaddes. Doesn't she know that Fatmagül will never have a moment's real peace if Mukaddes remains her sister-in-law? She's an implacable enemy and will plot against Fatmagül until the end of her days.
Whoa! Four months?! I've got whiplash!
I meant to post this a few days ago. Remember the episode where Kerim pulled the truck over to the side of the road, and another vehicle almost collided with them? It was a close call that startled them both, and Fatmagül raised her hand to her mouth and performed an unusual gesture with the roof of her mouth. I looked it up and found that it's a common Turkish gesture used to express surprise:
Surprise: Pushing the upper teeth back with the thumb expresses fear or great surprise.
