What’s happening this week

We’re done with Confederations Cup coverage interrupting the regular flow of novelas after this weekend…but then there’s MLS and CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Today, Saturday, there’s a marathon of Los Mosqueteros on UniMás starting at 7pm/6c and pushing Blue Demon to 11pm/10c.

Also Saturday, there are two specials on Telemundo–Mariposa de Barrio at 4pm/3c followed by El Señor de los Cielos at 5pm/4c.

Tuesday there’s a movie marathon on UniMás during the day, but the evening shows air as usual.

Thursday night, Premios Juventud airs on Univision, so look for pre-emptions and re-scheduling starting during the day and going into Friday.

Friday night, boxing on Telemundo messes with the evening schedule.

Also Friday night, fútbol pre-empts all the evening shows on UniMás.

The episodes of Cuentos de Hadas for this week on Galavisión are:

7/3 La Bella Durmiente
7/4 Capurecita Roja
7/5 El Pescador y Su Esposa
7/6 El Sastrecillo Valiente
7/7 La Campesina Prudente

Next week: fútbol, fútbol, fútbol on UniMás.

Check the Horario for the regular schedule of telenovelas and series, the Calendar for events (including pre-emptions and schedule changes), the Proximas list for upcoming shows, and the Streaming page to keep up with what’s available on Netflix, Blim, and the Univision Now app.

Kat is 5ftLatina. She is really 5' tall (and probably shrinking) and Latina. She is not actually a cactus, but she is both prickly and cute. Mr. 5ft is actually married to Kat, but is not 5' tall or Latina. He is also not a form of plant life.

I think I’m done with Estela. I did some soul searching this weekend and it just doesn’t make me happy to watch it. Not like “Oh this is heavy and dark but I still like it” but “Wow I want back that time I spent watching.” There are too many other good shows.

I haven’t canceled the series recording yet. I might…. MIGHT see what tonight brings, but there are other shows I get a lot more joy from.

Sara, did you happen to notice if Monday’s Estela was a repeat of Friday’s episode? I’m wondering if it was just my local Uni station or if it happened everywhere.

I’ve already deleted my recording without even watching 🙁

I wonder if anyone else knows.

Thanks, Kat! I thought at first I was imagining things. 🙂

That’s odd. I wonder if they just screwed up or if they are trying to get the last episode to fall on a certain day?

Ok. You said nothing is off topic…

Has Luis Gatica hotter as he’s gotten older? Discuss.

I saw a quick, general promo on Univision and it looks like for now they plan to bring the new Osorio production soon.

That could change though.
