Author: 5ftLatina

Kat is 5ftLatina. She is really 5' tall (and probably shrinking) and Latina. She is not actually a cactus, but she is both prickly and cute. Mr. 5ft is actually married to Kat, but is not 5' tall or Latina. He is also not a form of plant life.

Paging Jarifa – my husband has recently gotten back into Longmire. I just started the third season this morning and he was wondering when it was pulled from A&E and put on Netflix. Do you remember how many seasons aried on A&E?

It was on A&E for three seasons and three on Netflix.

Thanks! I think it was the end of the second season that prompted the question. He said he would have been furious if it had ended at the second season without knowing if it was coming back or not.

I can see why. The series ended up being very satisfying thanks to Netflix .

FYI, in case your husband is interested Longmire is based on a series of novels by Craig Johnson.

I think he mentioned that today.

I need to go back and check the time on the DVR, but next Sunday there is a special Sin Filtro featuring Luis Miguel.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but, Sunday night during Don Francisco, the commercials for “Enemigo íntimo” said it was in its “capítulos finales.” Is “El señor de los cielos” following it?

I would assume so. I’ve seen some promos for it.

I’m watching ARV on Telemundo and they are talking about the upcoming production of El Secreto de Selena. They have cast Maya Zapata in the role of Selena. Wow. She really looks a lot like her.

It’s a show I’m very interested in.

On yesterday’s GyF, they said that the anticipated part 2 of the Juan Gabriel bioseries was “paralizada”, because his designated heir (adopted son Iván) hasn’t given permission for the use of his names or songs. It’s a shame that he’s not respecting what would have been JuanGa’s wishes, since his father fully cooperated with part 1 of the series. Iván also shut down production of a play in Mexico earlier this year for the same reason.

That’s so disappointing. I know JuanGa is a huge name, but I would think he would want to keep his name and music a live via TV and theatre. He could still have a say in how things are produced. The cynic in me wonders if he’s just not happy with his share of the money in the projects.

OH!!! Do you think that’s why they didn’t use his name in JJ? Remember how we wondered about that? We all knew it was JuanGa, but they were calling him something else.

PS: My copy of José José’s autobiography arrived this week. The first sentence is about Chumo. *sob*
