Caray, Caray! Trouble in paradise

I am biting my tongue not to go over there and address all this schedule change nonsense.

No, last-minute changes are NOT why you have lower readership and lower participation.

UniMás having movies on in the early evening isn’t even happening until mid-week, because they’re about to finish 2 novelas. (Or maybe they were more like dramas, I don’t know.) That is not a sign of the impending doom of the telenovela as a genre. Let them get through ending Tres Milagros and Atrapada and decide what they’re going to do. Hey, it’s not like they don’t make last-minute decisions, right?

Be honest with yourselves, if you’re upset that Doña Flor is being moved to the afternoon and so you’re going to drop it, MAYBE IT’S BECAUSE THE SHOW’S NOT THAT GOOD. Which is why it’s not getting good ratings. Which is why they’re moving it. If it was a good show you’d follow it to daytime or weekends or online only or whatever stupid shit they decide to do with it. But this show is not worth it, apparently. This is not your Guerra de Ídolos, or even your Entre dos Amores.

Acting like it’s the end of the world for your off-topic conversations because there’s not “a show” on is likewise ridiculous. It sounds like you only want your off-topic conversations to happen in the middle of complaining about a show no one’s really enjoying. But, oh no! No more show! What ever will we do?! Uh, have a chat thread?

Why the rigidity about conversation having to happen “on the patio” and “patios” only being attached to shows? Here, lemme give you an idea for free, since you’re so obsessed with this “patio” thing, just start a damn chat thread and call it “The Patio.” And then tag it “patio.” And then put up a new one once a week and stop this “comments close after 5 days so we won’t get as much spam” nonsense. Spam hasn’t been a problem for you since I went in there and removed 5000+ spam comments and reported them all to Blogger. You could at least TRY 7 days and see how it goes for you before you decide it has to be a certain way and complain about how much work that makes.

Y’all just keep doing things like somebody’s gonna come yell at you ’cause that’s not how they wanted it. Grow the fuck up, run it the way you want to run it, and quit blaming everything on everyone but yourselves. Oh, and also, give me back my writing!

Kat is 5ftLatina. She is really 5' tall (and probably shrinking) and Latina. She is not actually a cactus, but she is both prickly and cute. Mr. 5ft is actually married to Kat, but is not 5' tall or Latina. He is also not a form of plant life.

Change is inevitable. Adapting is optional.

Out of curiosity… How bad was Doña because El Talisman was abysmal and moved almost immediately and the team followed the show to the afternoon. Doña Flor must be atrocious (but the book still seems quasi appealing now that I know cooking is involved.)
