Launch Pad (November 7, 2020)
Hi. This is FridayMorning!Kat, having technical difficulties and struggling with the general level of bullshittery. I’m cutting myself some slack.
How are y’all doing?
Hi there, this is SaturdayMorning!Kat.
I’m so fucking happy, y’all. Happy the uncertainty is over and that President-elect Biden speaks in complete sentences and is already working…TRABAJANDO y’all! What a concept!
I don’t even have the words to say about Vice President-elect Harris. My inner child is getting some sorely-needed validation.
Promo Roundup
Tu cara me suena is back as of last night, Sundays 8pm Eastern.
Mar de amor begins November 8 on Galavisión at 4pm Eastern.
Vencer el desamor begins November 9 at 8pm Eastern, taking over from Médicos.
Sin Miedo a la Verdad is back, on Galavisión weeknights at 11pm Eastern starting November 9, taking over from El Pantera.
November 16, the return of OG Betty on Telemundo. I cannot overstate my level of excitement. It’ll be on at 1pm Eastern, taking over from La ley del corazón.
Kat is 5ftLatina. She is really 5' tall (and probably shrinking) and Latina. She is not actually a cactus, but she is both prickly and cute. Mr. 5ft is actually married to Kat, but is not 5' tall or Latina. He is also not a form of plant life.

I’ve been over the moon since the election announcement! The acceptance speeches were perfect and brought tears to my eyes. I haven’t been able to stop smiling ever since. Am also relishing the baby in the White House’s temper tantrum.
I go back and forth between happy and “Wait…did that really happen?” And the fact that they’ve started work already so highlights the difference between wanting to win, and wanting to do the job.
The difference has been so striking. BTW, today I saw that Georgia was also called for Biden–the first Democrat in 28 years to win GA!

Yet another contestant got COVID-19 on TCMS: Francesca Lachapel. That makes 5 out of 8 contestants infected. Why are they still in production? The interesting thing is that Francesca dropped out, while the other 4 all plan to return or have already.
La Voz had everyone in masks except for singing, but they had also had everyone in a bubble and didn’t let contestants that hadn’t been in quarantine long enough onto the stage–they had to perform from a studio. I don’t know if TCMS considered doing anything like that, but wow, yeah, more than half the contestants are sick? Just scrap it!
Sounds like La Voz had a sensible plan. Last week was the first time I noticed any of the backup dancers wearing masks on TCMS. I’d still be terrified to be on that set.
