Here’s what’s going on at El Cohete:
Who are these people?
If you watched the original Yo Soy Betty, La Fea you’ll have no trouble figuring out who’s who–they’ve kept most of the same names.
Everybody at Zehra’s are still sitting around looking at each other. Kader’s ready to call it quits. Zehra asks if Kader’s going to say anything nice tonight. (I’m going with “no.”)
Asli’s writing in her diary again when Kader starts hollerin’ for her. I find it especially irritating that she does the same scream of “Asliiiiiii!” no matter what’s going on. I’m always thinking something terrible has just happened like the roof caved in or the house is on fire, but no. She’s just complaining that Asli burned dinner.
Neriman wonders aloud to Sinasi if he and her father are secretly up to something. She tries to determine what they are up to without flat-out asking if Faiz is trying to marry her off to Sinasi.
Disclaimer: Not going to lie, today felt a little like word salad and I don’t think I was really comprehending any of the conversations.
Nezahat’s going to meet Asím and pick out their wedding rings. Gulter walks with her part of the way and then continues alone, running into a couple of neighbors…and Cemal.
Zehra’s really excited about Rüya coming over for dinner. Are they making stuffed pasta? I want some! Zehra can’t wait for Sinasi and Rüya to get married. She’s all for a double wedding with Nezahat.
Sahika’s over for dinner. She has a chat with Faiz while Gulter and Neriman are in the kitchen. She agrees with her mom that Faiz’s speech was good. And he’s right about Cihan behaving.
